Users also have the ability to remove responses that are seen as inappropriate/unhelpful.

Responding to Companies Using Chat
One of the great features of GovQuote is being able to speak directly with companies using the intuitive chat system. You may also send files using the attachments placeholder.

There is no limit to the number of the attachments you can share. All responses and attachments are sent in real time to the company and notifications appear both on the platform and via email.

All responses are part of the permanent record of the transaction and cannot be deleted or edited.

To respond to a company's chat message:
Click the grey View Messages button on the vendor you wish to respond to
Enter your response in the text box and attach any files you wish to include using the attachments placeholder
Click the grey Send button
Afterwards click the grey Close Messages button to minimize the chat

You can also initiate Announcements with all companies that have responded to a request. All participant companies will be notified of announcements and they will remain publicly visible on this request. Each company's message is only viewable by the agency and other companies who respond cannot see each others messages exchanged.

To send an Announcement simply click the blue Add button
